Gīru Kyōkotsu is the third cousin once-removed of the older of the two spirits of Katen Kyōkotsu.
Personality[]
Gīru is a rather timid girl that has fondness for machines. She loves to tinker with them day and night, and sometimes forgets to eat, sleep, or do anything anyone asks her. Some of her friends have even become worried that she might try to take over the human world, Soul Society, and Hueco Mundo with an army of robots.
Zanpakutō[]
Gīru has two Zanpakutō.
Gehaburn (ゲハバーン, Gehabān, Japanese for "Cursed God-Killing Saber"): this Zanpakutō looks like a large sword with a wide blade that glows a bright purple.
- Shikai Special Ability: Gehaburn's release is "I'm sorry!" (ごめんなさい!, gomen'nasai!) Its form does not change on release. When it stabs any living entity, the victim dies instantly, and their energy is converted into raw power that causes Gīru to immediately grow stronger indefinitely.
Gīru with Lilac released.
Lilac (ライラック, Rairakku, Japanese for "Lilac"): this Zanpakutō has no appearance before being released.
- Shikai Special Ability: Lilac has no release command. To release, Gīru needs only to close her eyes and imagine herself activating it. On release, Gīru changes form completely. Her abilities are enhanced ten-fold in this form, and she can fly. While in this state, Gehaburn changes its appearance to that of a sword/beam gun hybrid.
